Your workers' compensation program is overseen by the Joint Labor Management Workers' Compensation Committee (JWCC) established by the National Ignition Facility Conventional Facilities Project Labor Agreement. The JWCC's power is equally distributed between unions and contractor parties. Among other things, the JWCC designates the lists of physicians and vocational rehabilitation consultants that can provide services to injured union members. The JWCC operates in conjunction with the Ombudsman, and designates Mediators and Arbitrators. The Ombudsman, Mediators and Arbitrators answer questions and resolve disputes. Your program is designed to deliver high quality medical care, expedite delivery of benefits, and provide access to an impartial expert for help in resolving problems. Members of the JWCC want you to obtain the benefits to which you are entitled and receive quality medical care.
