The Irish Construction and Irish Communication Company workers' compensation program is administered by the Labor Management Committee (LMC). The program is based on a collective bargaining agreement between the Industrial, Professional and Technical Workers International Union, SIUNA, AFL-CIO and the Irish Construction and Irish Communication Company. The LMC is comprised of 2 members from the Irish Construction and Irish Communication Company and 2 members from the Labor Unions. The LMC is concerned that you receive appropriate medical care and benefits in a timely manner. The position of the Ombudsman has been created under the Workers Compensation Agreement to help injured workers receive workers' compensation benefits without the normal delays. The Ombudsman will be available to work with you and to assist in answering your questions at no charge to the injured worker. The Ombudsman will help you obtain quality medical care and any disability payments. The Ombudsman will also assist you with the return to work process. The Ombudsman will work with the insurance company, doctor, employer, and union representative to make sure you get all the Workers Compensation benefits you are eligible to receive. Please contact the ombudsman if you have any questions regarding your AOE adr program for workers' compensation, your medical services or what you need to do to help resolve your claim. |
